Jim Kemp, PsyD
Licensed Natural Medicine Clinical Facilitator & Licensed Psychologist
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and natural medicine facilitator whose work has always centered on one question: what does it mean for a person to truly come home to themselves?
Over sixteen years of clinical practice, I have worked primarily with men and couples navigating the terrain of relational disconnection, emotional armor, and the quiet longing for something more authentic. I completed my doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Denver and have done extensive additional training in psychedelic assisted work. In my practice I bring together attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, and experiential approaches to help people access deeper layers of themselves and their relationships.
I came to psychedelic assisted work not as a departure from my clinical roots but as a natural extension of them. I have long believed that healing happens most powerfully in the context of relationship, with a trusted guide, with other people who are willing to be real, and with the parts of ourselves we have kept hidden. Psilocybin, held within a carefully prepared and relationally attuned container, has a remarkable capacity to soften what has hardened and illuminate what has been obscured.
I am especially drawn to men's work. I have witnessed again and again how much men are carrying and how rarely they are given permission to set it down. The Men's Medicine Circle I help facilitate is an expression of that conviction: a small intentional space where men can move beneath the armor and into genuine contact with themselves and each other.

My role in this work is not to direct your experience but to hold the space steady while you find your own way through it. I bring warmth, clinical depth, and a deep respect for the wisdom that emerges when a person is truly met.
