Fees & Pricing Information
At our licensed psilocybin healing center, we believe that transparent and comprehensive pricing information is an essential component of informed consent, ensuring you can make fully informed decisions about your healing journey. We are committed to providing fair, accessible, evidence-based standard pricing and sliding scale structures that honor both the profound value of this work and the diverse financial realities of our community.
Our Commitment to Ethical Practice
We want to address something important: the psychedelic healing field is experiencing rapid growth, and with it, concerns about cultural appropriation, profit-driven motives, and the colonization of indigenous plant medicines.
At The Clearing, we are committed to practicing with integrity. This means:
Honoring the indigenous origins of these healing practices
Creating accessible pathways to treatment
Acknowledging our privilege and responsibility in this field
Supporting initiatives that give back to indigenous communities
Prioritizing community healing over profit margins
We believe our standard rates are consciously driven and fair; and, we believe the methodology behind our sliding scale model ensures that the benefits of psychedelic healing reach beyond those with economic privilege, creating space for the diverse communities who need and deserve access to these transformative therapies.
Above all, we welcome confidential conversations with you!
How we Determine our Standard Rates
Our standard rates reflect the comprehensive safety, professional, and legal protections that come with regulated psilocybin therapy, including rigorous clinical screening and assessment protocols, quality-controlled medicine, licensed clinical oversight with professional insurance and liability coverage, and standardized facilitator training within state-compliant facilities. This regulated framework ensures clients receive evidence-based therapeutic integration and continuity of care with proper documentation, while providing state-legal protection and peace of mind under Colorado's personal and therapeutic use laws. These rates represent the full value of a professionally accountable, medically supervised therapeutic experience that prioritizes both safety and efficacy.

How we Determine our Sliding Scale Rates
At The Clearing, we believe healing should be available to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. Our sliding scale model creates a sustainable way to offer services across different economic realities while fostering collective healing in our community.
When clients who have greater financial capacity invest at the standard rate, they directly enable us to provide reduced-cost services to those experiencing economic hardship or from historically marginalized communities. This approach recognizes that true healing happens not in isolation, but through supporting one another.
Financial Assessment Questions
We use an assessment based on the Anti-Oppression Resource & Training Alliance (AORTA) framework to help identify which pricing tier reflects your current circumstances. This self-assessment honors both your financial reality and your role in supporting community access.
Please answer the following questions honestly. Each "yes" answer represents access to financial stability or privilege:
Are you or your family homeowners or landowners?
Have you attended private educational institutions or earned an advanced degree?
Can you comfortably make minimum payments on regular bills and credit cards?
Have you been able to easily access and afford health insurance for yourself and family?
Do you have little to no debt and/or disposable income for non-essentials?
Do you have a financial safety net of stable or wealthy family and friends?
Do you hold U.S. citizenship?
Does your income support only yourself, rather than extended family or dependents?
Have you inherited money or property, or do you expect to?
Have you attended or could you have afforded college and/or graduate school?
Pricing Tiers Based on Your Responses
If you answered “yes” to 7+ questions, you likely can afford our Standard Rates (i.e., Redistribution Rate)
You have moderate to significant financial stability and access to resources
Your investment at this rate helps to indirectly subsidize services for others in need
This rate covers the true cost of services
If you answered “yes” to 4-6 questions, you likely can afford our Reduced Rate (i.e., Sustaining Rate) - up to a 20% reduction from Standard Rates
You have some financial stability but face economic constraints
This reduced rate makes services more accessible while supporting sustainability
If you answered “yes” to 1-3 questions, you likely can afford our Community Rate (i.e., Solidarity Rate) - up to a 40% reduction from Standard Rates
You face significant financial challenges or economic marginalization
This rate ensures services remain accessible despite financial barriers
If you answered “yes” to 0 questions, you may be able to afford our Community Care Rate (i.e., Solidarity Rate) - up to a 60% reduction from Standard Rates
You experience substantial economic hardship or systemic marginalization
This deeply reduced rate removes many financial barriers to healing
Financial Assistance for Psychedelic Assisted Therapeutic Care
The Sheri Eckert Foundation’s Psilocybin Access Fund (PAF) helps those in need of healing overcome financial barriers to psilocybin therapy within the Oregon state regulated model, but it is worth connecting with them regarding your receiving services here in Colorado. We give funds to individuals from underserved communities who couldn't otherwise afford this treatment, expanding access and healing opportunities.
Additionally, the Forward Fund connects those seeking healing with financial support, through a confidential process that preserves privacy and dignity.
For veterans, grant and scholarship options are available at organizations such as the Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions (VETS) and the Heroic Hearts Project.
Additional Financial Assistance Program
We know… the rates for psilocybin therapy carries with it quite the sticker shock, especially now in its infancy here in Colorado. The costs in this newly regulated industry reflect the extensive training, licensing, facility requirements, and comprehensive care involved, but we recognize these necessary expenses can put treatment out of reach for many who could benefit greatly.
Here is the thing: we truly believe everyone deserves access to healing, regardless of their financial circumstances. While our practice relies on standard and sliding-scale pricing to remain sustainable, we're committed to creating regular opportunities for those who face significant financial barriers.
Several times each year, we open a limited number of spaces in small group journeys for individuals who otherwise couldn't easily afford to readily access this medicine. If you're interested in being considered for future opportunities, please reach out to join our community list. When spaces become available, we'll connect with those who've expressed interest to discuss possibilities.
These sessions maintain the same comprehensive care—thorough preparation, professional facilitation, and complete integration support—because your healing journey deserves nothing less than full attention and expertise. To maintain program sustainability and ensure quality care for everyone, these community spaces are offered periodically alongside our regular practice.
Next Steps
After completing this assessment, please contact us to discuss your pricing tier and schedule your initial consultation. We approach these conversations with complete confidentiality and without judgment—our goal is simply to ensure you receive the care you need in a way that works for your circumstances.
All financial discussions remain strictly confidential and are handled with care and respect.
